Overview

Our Paris food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Paris. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain the details of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Possible tastings: - Choupette: small puff pastry made from choux pastry and sugar pearls - Le Boeuf Bourguignon: a classic French dish. It is a slow-cooked beef stew made with tender chunks of beef braised in red wine and with a variety of vegetables and herbs - Cheese selection: a savory mix of local cheese - Crêpe: the iconic French dessert. You will choose among its most popular sweet variants. - Macarons : how can we let you go without a taste of the most traditional Parisian dessert?

    Why is the Moulin Rouge the most famous cabaret when there are many more in the neighbourhood? For this, imagine yourself in the Paris of the French Cancan, the period of the painter Toulouse Lautrec and Maxim’s; imagine yourself in the period of “La Belle Époque”: During the Belle Époque new concepts like aviation, the telephone and even the cinema were some of the many things invented. It was a prosperous era and the people wanted to have fun and the cabarets competed to attract many people: The Moulin rouge was the first to have electricity on its stage so that already made it very modern.

    You will start your experience with a choupette! A small puff pastry made from choux pastry and sugar pearls. It's a less famous french sweet, but it is to die for!
