    Join us on tour for a day exploring some of the West Coast’s most stunning natural regions. Located only a short drive from Perth, we’ll take you into Yanchep National Park first.

  • Lancelin Sand Dunes

    After 1.5 hours from Perth, we stop to stretch our legs and take in the views from Lancelin lookout, home to the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia. These gigantic snow-white dunes are a stark contrast to the glistening turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean in the distance.

  • Nilgen Lookout

    Shake the sand out of your shoes, before we travel on to the Nilgen Nature Reserve. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, we’ll wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season.

  • Hangover Bay

    If the flowers are in hiding, we’ll instead head over to Hangover Bay, where you can dip your toes in the crystal-clear waters or spot the likes of bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.

  • Nambung National Park

    With our lungs full of fresh sea air, it’s time to journey on to the Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles desert at sunset. Made up of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to a time when the land was beneath the sea. Best explored at dusk when the crowds evaporate and the thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert; watch the colours change over the rocks, creating a lunar-like atmosphere.

  • The Pinnacles

    Enjoy a Picnic dinner accompanied by a glass of local product wine (all included), while we settle in for a spectacular light show of natural wonder, beneath the sky. As the darkness sets, it’s time to marvel at the other-worldly beauty of the stars and planets, swirling high above. Listen to the ancient stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime and gaze light-years away.

Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the times of your visit and have packed adequate clothing

Fantastic sunset and star gazing at pinnacle’s

Was a great tour. And our guide had really interesting info on the locations and also on the stars and planets. And the sunset over the pinnacles was to die for.

What an amazing experience. I would most certainly recommend this tour to anyone. I booked this tour as a Christmas present for my immediate family. There were 10 of us in total with ages ranging from 74 to 9. Claire was amazing from the time I enquired about the tour continuing through to the days following the tour. She was so helpful and was very accommodating to our needs. Our tour started on Saturday the 28th of December 2024 when we were picked up at my home at 1.45 and headed on our adventure. Gavin our driver and tour guide was a very experienced driver and guide. His commentary was very informative, and even though we live in Western Australia, he was able to give us some facts that were new to us. Our first stop was Lancelin where we were able to purchase some refreshments and then headed for the sand dunes. Everyone in my family had a fantastic time sand boarding down the dunes, so much so that we are still taking about it now. From here we drove to the beach where we some relaxing time enjoying the coolness of the ocean and then made our way back to Lancelin and then onto the Pinnacles. Even though some of us had been to the Pinnacles before we were totally amazed at how the landscape has changed. We walked around the dunes taking photos, enjoying the view and waiting for the sun to set. Sunset was spectacular and well worth the wait. Next it was time for our BBQ dinner and star gazing to begin. The BBQ dinner was delicious and the salads were amazing. We all loved it. It was hard to concentrate on star gazing with all the delicious food on offer but somehow we managed. Gavin was on the telescope pointing it in the right direction for us to get the best view whilst Don gave a running commentary. I cannot praise these two gentlemen enough, they really made our day so much better. We arrived back home, totally exhausted after such a fantastic day, at 11.45pm. I cannot thank Lumineer Adventure Tours enough for giving us such a wonderful experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who is thinking of going on this adventure. Thank you Claire, Gavin and Don you are all amazing

Long day but a good value!

First of all please note it is 2.5 hours each way to the Pinnacles from Perth.There are a couple of stops along the way going up to make it longer than 2.5 hours.You do stop by the large sand dunes and Hangover Bay,The Pinnacles are interesting but not incredible,the pinic dinner is adequate along with sprinkling wine.The star gazing is a nice feature.Our driver/guide did a great job!And she avoided running into a kangaroo in the dark driving home!!!Cheers!

This was an amazing experience, well worth every $. We had a stop in a community LANCELIN, don't miss the meat pies at the bakery. Experiencing the sand dunes was a hoot, what Fun we had. Then further north th the pinnacles. Every guide shared a wealth of wisdom, I learned alot...
