Krems is part of the Wachau region full of wine villages, fortresses, and castles. Walk-through the Old town and pass by the Steiner Tor. Afterward, enjoy a meal and taste the famous wines from this area. Visit the Benedictine Melk Abbey, which overlooks the Danube River and don't forget to take some pictures of the Baroque buildings and the beautiful nature. Our drivers are not licensed to accompany you into the sights but are very knowledgeable of the places visited and will provide all the necessary historical information and their local perspective. Unforgettable Day in the Wachau Valley

We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring the picturesque Wachau Valley. Our awesome driver and guide Drako picked us up at our hotel (he was early and the car seemed very new). We first stopped at the famous Melk Abbey. The whole complex and chapel are absolute marvels. We then continued on to the medieval town of Dürnstein, where Richard the Lionhearted was once held captive. Since the weather was gorgeous, the scenery was breathtaking. We finished up the day of touring in the lively market town of Krems. After that we were driven back to Vienna and dropped off right at our hotel. In sum, an unforgettable day!
