I had the absolute pleasure of touring Hampton Court Palace with Sheila as our guide, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I had bought this experience for my Aunties birthday. She brought the stories of Henry VIII, his six wives, and the grandeur of the Tudor court to life with such vivid detail that we felt as if we had stepped back in time. Our guide Sheila was very knowledgeable about English history. She came highly recommended to us by family members who had taken her tour. Sheila presented history in an easy, non-overwhelming way. Her tour of Hampton Court Palace brought hundreds of years of history alive. I particularly enjoyed the photos she had of the monarchs over time. As she described events in history she referenced their photos thus putting a face to the historic event. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to better understand not only English history, but the history and changes Hampton Court Palace has seen over hundreds of years.
