Overview

Our Private Ten Lakes Spectacular Tour is the perfect opportunity for small groups of friends or family to enjoy their very own Private Tour. Our luxury, spacious 6 Seater minibus will allow you to travel the central Lake District in style. The Lake District is renowned for being the most beautiful corner of England. This full-day tour introduces you to ; a magnificent scenery of mountains, valleys, and lakes from the south to the north. The tour includes a lake cruise, a visit to the 4,000-year-old Castlerigg Stone Circle, set high on the fells, and time in Keswick for lunch. On this Lake District tour you will also travel over mountain passes, through beautiful valleys, see waterfalls, and traditional Lakeland villages. Along the way, you will pass some of the region’s most spectacular sights, such as Borrowdale Valley, Newlands Valley, Thirlmere, and Grasmere. A highlight is the Castlerigg Stone Circle, one of the most famous and most visited stone circles in the country.

Worth taking this tour

Well worth the tour. Never been to the lakes before but I wouldn’t have a clue where to start but Tim made it well worth it. Beautiful views and stopped a few different places. His driving, story telling, jokes, and knowledge/ history of the area was very educational. I will be hunting Tim down when I next come with my family.

great tour. Peter Fox (not rabbit) was our driver / guide - a good knowledge of the region and good driver too. Saw all we thought we would see - fantastic views. I stayed on the bus at some stops as I don't have great mobility but it was no problem with him. Would recommend for sure

Stef was friendly, very knowledgeable about the Lake District, and a skilled driver. We enjoyed learning about the area. Stef was helpful, offering to take photos for us. We did not expect to try the Grassmere gingerbread which was very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our day, thank you Stef!
