Organizing the tour was pretty easy, with quick answers from different lady employees. Driver Cesare who came to pick us up was even a few minutes early. Nice experience. Cesare gave us good explanations, and was very quick to pick us up after we visited Pompeii resp. after we returned from the peak of Vesuvio. As a summary, all in all a very positive experience, to be recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic time and our driver couldn't have been done a better job at making sure we had a great tour. They communicated well with us, modified the plans to meet our needs (cruise ship arrival and departure time), and set us up with an incredible guide while at Pompeii as well. We were some of the first people off the ship and our driver was already waiting for us with a sign with our name on it. Very easy to find. We were in the car and on the way before most people were even off the ship. We planned to make the first stop at Herculaneum, which was their suggestion to beat the crowds. Being a little ahead of schedule, our driver suggested a quick stop and a small shop for a cappuccino (which we thoroughly enjoyed and I think it was the best one we drank on the trip) before we got to Herculaneum right as it was opening. We literally got to wander around the town with only 4-6 other people at the site, it was amazing and we highly recommend it. By the time we were ready to leave, the tour groups were just starting to arrive. Couldn't have timed it better! Next stop, Vesuvius! Quick drive up the mountain, he explained what to expect, and we made the hike up to the caldera. Amazing views from there, both of the surrounding city and coast, as well as the volcano itself. It is quick a little steep hike up to the top, but we did it in about 15 minutes (huffing and puffing), and really enjoyed the time to take in the views and just think about what the eruption must have been like. Definitely a moment where you realize how small we are versus mother nature. Last stop, Pompeii. They prearranged a guide for us, which was absolutely worth the extra cost. She knew we only had about two hours, definitely no where NEAR enough time to thoroughly enjoy Pompeii, but we had to get back to the ship, so she put together a plan to see the highlights and avoid seeing the same sorts of things we saw at Herculaneum. Along the way, she filled in a lot of gaps for us about what we saw at the other site and she gave us incredible insight into what they've uncovered and what life must have been like around 2,000 years ago. Just an incredible day all around and worth every penny for the experience we had. There is no way we could have seen as much or enjoyed it as much without booking with Di Sarno. Thanks again to our GREAT driver and guide for the day, Salvatore and to our guide in Pompeii, Francesca. I hope I got both of your names right!

We booked a car and driver to take us from cruise terminal to the archeological sites and up to mt Vesuvius. We were unable to navigate the website to make the purchase for timed entry tickets to go up to Mt Vesuvius. Our driver knew how to obtain the tickets and showed up with two tickets for us to get in he timed everything perfectly and delivered us back to the ship on time. He was very friendly knowledgeable and spoke great English. Would and will recommend Luca to anyone we know visiting the area. He was great!

Caesar was a wonderful driver and we had a great day. He was knowledgeable of the areas and points of interest. Some reviews complain that it is just a taxi as you pay into Herculaneum and Pompeii however it is much cheaper than a €65 can one way and more enjoyment

We took a day trip out of Naples to tour Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius, and Pompeii. We rented audio tours at Herculaneum and they were not great. It was hard to find our way around because the place is NOT in numerical order and you can hardly hear the audio. We felt like we wasted our time. We reported this to Dolly, our guide, and Daniela, our driver. They found a personal guide for the 8 of us prior to our visit of Pompeii. So much better!!! Our guide, Rosella, was fabulous!!! In between those tours, we hiked beautiful Mt. Vesuvius, luckily between cloudbursts. It was an amazing view of Naples and the crater! Dolly, Daniela, and Rosella made our day. I’d recommend them to my family and friends. Wish we had met Rosella for our Herculaneum tour, too.
