To discover the roots of Trieste, we'll explore the Capitol Hill of San Giusto, site of ancient Roman ruins including the ancient Civil Basilical, the forum. We'll will also admire the medieval Castle (exterior) and the Cathedral of San Giusto which preserves stunning Byzantine mosaics and medieval frescoes.

Sonja was a very well educated and insightful guide. We enjoyed her narrative of the history of Trieste. She also provided insights into the culture of the city. We visited the oldest cafe in Trieste for a coffee and went back later for a delightful dinner. A very entertaining tour.

Our tour with Christina was excellent. It was a relaxed walking tour of the city. Giving us the historical background of the old city and the new city. She also was helpful on places to eat and future activities in Venice.

Our guide Sonia was terrific! The tour was so informative and the city is amazing! The history of the city was riveting! We were so privileged to be able to attend a portion of the mass at St. Giusto cathedral. This tour was one of the best we have ever had! Sonia is incredible!
