Overview of Funchal

Ricky gave us a fun trip with a great overview of Funchal and took video of us as we finished our toboggan ride from Monte. We liked hearing his personal stories and recommendations for our stay in Madeira, and had some good laughs. It was a great way to see the city and plan the rest of our visit.

Our guide “Ricky” was Excellent! Saw the town and he explained the sites. The sled ride was so fun! (Ticket not included) Stoped at a Poncha bar and got to taste the local spirit. Warning limit yourself to one. Took about 1 1/2 hours which was great because then we were able to do some stuff on our own.

Great tour around the old town and up to the top of the city. You have to do the Monte toboggan. Ricky and Ines were great guides. Very informative.

Lovely trip through Funchal

We book a trip with Ines and Ricky and it was absolutely fantastic. They took us to some extraordinary places, had great views, told us about the country and the people and showed us where to drink the best Poncha. We hope to come back and would book them again.
