The beautiful garden of the coffee house is located between the short street front to the Tuchlauben and the Tuchmacherbrunnen and will provide us with a beautiful view of the inner city

The best food tour in Vienna

Our guide, Peter, was fantastic. Got to know more about thx city of Vienna as well as the food. Went well away from the tourist centers to eat amazing and very local foods. Could not recommend it more. Wear good shoes. Lots of ground to cover and see!!

Kristohof walked our family all over Vienna tasting and drinking a wide assortment of foods, pastries, ice cream, and drinks. Each stop was amazing. Learned so much about Viennese foods and their preparation and culture.

Hi, I went on a wonderful food tour with my husband and friend. It covered so much - not only did we learn about food itself, we also learned so much about local society and culture. We took the subway to go to a local market and saw a completely different other aspect of the city. It was so much more than a food tour. It went quite long - I was impressed at the guide's enthusiasm and energy. Thank you!

Wonderful and Delicious Tour

4 of us had the absolute pleasure of going on a wonderful 6 hour (actually went for 7 hours) private food and history tour. A very long tour I admit, but we had so much fun with Peter - world's best guide - the time flew by. I expected we would visit a couple of coffee cafes and, in accordance with their coffee culture, spend an hour or two at each with a food stop somewhere in between. We did partake of a traditional coffee cafe, but then we did so very much more. Peter has a gift for telling a story, for bringing history alive. He has an actors way of telling the tale which keeps you memerized and entertained. Bravo Peter, and thank you! We ate a LOT of new tasty foods, went to places that locals go and of which tourists are unaware. All the while learning the colorful history of beautiful Vienna. We all left the tour feeling utterly satiated, knowledgeable about Vienna's fascinating history and with a desire to visit Vienna again, physically a little tired but mentally wired, and with an abiding affection for our tour guide Peter. It was a truly and all around wonderful experience.
