Royal Palace of Madrid

Your guide will take you to visit the official residence of the kings of Spain, also known as the Palace of the East. Built between 1738 and 1764 on the ruins of an ancient castle that dated back to Emir Mohamed I (9th century), the palace is characterized by an impressive artistic richness both in the multiple materials used for its construction and in the decoration of the rooms. Take advantage of this instructive visit to discover the history of Spain and do not hesitate to stop your guide to ask him to linger longer on a historical point.

Once the visit to the Royal Palace of Madrid is over, you'll head to the Prado Museum, for which we offer cab transportation to the museum. Once you arrive at the museum, you will not have to wait a moment thanks to the quick entrance included in your reservation.

Our tours of the Prado and palace were definitely highlights of our time in Madrid. Our guide, Laura, was excellent! She made the tours very interesting and we were impressed with her knowledge. We highly recommend!

GREAT tour with Laura!

Highly recommend this walking tour. In 4 hours we felt we truly had covered a thorough overview of the 2 most highly visited sights in Madrid. Laura was awesome - very knowledgeable about both sights and a pleasure to spend time with. Even our teens stayed engaged and interested. Meet up was easy and she was flexible with things like stopping for bathrooms or a quick caffeine break. You will enjoy!

Excellent guide and wonderful tours

Exceptional value for the cost and well worth the investment. My wife and I would have been totally unaware of what we were seeing without Florin’s expert guidance and information. Florin gave us a great walk-through of the Palace and the. Showed us the really important areas of the Prada so we could plan future visits on our own. He also planned and managed all the transportation logistics and allowed us flexibility to slow down through some areas and speed up through other areas as our interests and energy level needed. We’ll Done Florin!
