Overview

This tour is a great introduction to the city and will help you gather your bearings whilst discovering hidden treasures that only a local would know. We will spend the tour visiting the main Historical Monuments and learning about Bordeaux's rich history whilst tasting some of the famous local treats. The tour ends in one of the most fabulous wine bars of Bordeaux for a private wine tasting. Come along as we wander through Bordeaux’s gorgeous cobbled streets whilst we stop off at places you can’t leave Bordeaux without trying. The visit will include: - Patisseries - Chocolate - Cheese - Wine tasting.

    Explanation of the main shopping street of Bordeaux and how the city is set up.

  • Grand Theatre

    Learn about the 18th century architecture using stone from the famous Bourg quarry while trying a delicious sweet treat before heading to the first restaurant.

  • Grosse Cloche

    History of Rue St James and the Big Bell along with a street food stop to try the official dessert of Bordeaux.

    20 minutes

  • Pont de Pierre

    The gorgeous stone bridge of Bordeaux, over 200 years old. The first to connect both sides of Bordeaux.

    10 minutes

  • Porte Cailhau

    History of the medieval old wall that went around Bordeaux along with disney like architecture. Perfect photo opportunity before heading for our main course in the second restaurant.

  • The Water Mirror

    Bordeaux has the world's largest reflecting pool, something that can't be missed. Situated along the river where you can watch the Bordelais running, roller blading or simply strolling with their families.

  • Cathedrale Saint-Andre Bordeaux

    The biggest religious building of Bordeaux, built in the 11th century. This is the stop before we head to the final restaurant for some of the best cake and coffee Bordeaux has to offer.
