Overview

Enjoy the Rainbow Mountain driving ATVs, our company designed a unique route where you will cross mountains, rivers, small local towns with a beautiful views of the Peruvian mountain range. Along the way we will see herds of llamas and alpacas in their natural habitats and of course we stop to take the best pictures which makes this tour amazing. This is the perfect tour to take pictures,use Go-pro, connect with the nature, feel freedom, adventure and enjoy the Rainbow Mountain.

Itinerary

  • Vinicunca Mountain

    Wait to be picked up at your hotel in Cusco by your tour guide, then relax during the trip that takes about 3 hours to the town of Hanchipacha where is located our ATVs Station and our restaurant for Breakfast and Lunch. We are going to drive ATVs trough a amazing landscape leaded by our guide making stops to take photos, it’s very common to find the nice llamas and alpacas along the way. Driving time It’s 2 hours round trip. Enjoy the Rainbow Mountain after a short hiking of 2.3Km / 1.43 miles, take as many pictures as you can , there are beautiful views such as the valley, the viewpoint (5036 masl /16 522 ft), the Pachamama’s hand built by local people and the snow-capped Ausangate mountain. Finally enjoy the route one more time driving the ATVs back until our station and after a comforting lunch We will get back to Cusco ! Note: It's recommended previous experience driving motorized vehicles or cars, if you are not sure to drive you can always go with our guides or friend.

Incredible experience!

What a wonderful trip! Its a long day but the ATV ride and the views are so worth the early morning! Jorge, Yajaira, and Arturo took great care of us on this trip. I actually felt bad for the people who chose to ride up in the vans. We stopped a few times on the ride up to take pics. We saw llamas and alpacas grazing, little streams, cute villages and active birds on our journey. To get to the top we rented motorbikes (driven by experienced locals). The views of rainbow mountain and the glacier were phenomenal. I’m so glad I booked this particular tour. The guides knew their stuff! Thanks for a fantastic day!

Amazing day with Rogelio & Bonifacio on the quad bike rainbow mountain trip from Cusco. It was a long day & exhausting but so worth it! Views from the mountain (& the journey to the mountain) were stunning.

The ride up the mountain on the switchback roads was exciting and a bit terrifying. The views were incredible everywhere I looked, especially at the top. We ended up in a really small group (just three guests, our driver and our guide). We were treated very well and I highly recommend this company.
