Journey into remote arboreal forests and enjoy the serenity of the backcountry with friendly and professional guides. Trail rides are suitable for riders of any level, and no previous experience is required. Please Note: Minimum of 2 people required per booking

Itinerary

Our two hour Ridge Ride Is Our Most Popular Adventure! You will traverse a mountain ridge high above the landscape below to capture a breathtaking view of the entire Kananaskis Valley. Watch carefully as you descend through the montane forest and wetland. You might catch a glimpse of the wildlife that resides in this unique ecosystem. Appropriate for novice to experienced riders. Remember to bring your camera to capture the incredible scenery. You will also pass by our Teepee Village with one of the Teepees that was in the Movie The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio Ride Departure Times: 9:30am, 1:00pm & 3:30pm *Please arrive 45-30 minutes prior to ride departure

Trail rides are guided by experienced staff and limited to a walking pace
Participants should wear long pants and sturdy closed-toed shoes; skirts, sandals, and high heels will not be permitted

Such a great tour and lunch! Had been many years since I was on a horse but the guides instructed us the whole way. Gentle horses and spectacular views. Would definitely do again!

We went on a morning ride with Randy as our guide with another couple so just the 4 of us. It was a beautiful September morning although a little chilly. I was riding LJ and my partner was riding Jack. Although we have both ridden a little before we are beginners and my last experience of riding was 20 years ago when I was bucked off a horse after she spooked seeing a fox. So to say I was a little nervous was an understatement. I was put first behind Randy due to my nerves and the couple with us were more experienced riders. LJ and Jack both were easy going, easy to ride and responsive. Randy taught us all we needed to know as we went along and told us about the local area and wild life. Amazing start to the day. The horses were clearly well cared for! This was a walk so very suited to beginners. Lunch after was very nice - we had steak and the flavour was fab. Really recommend this!

I came with my parents from Newfoundland today for the 2 hour Ridge Ride and it did not disappoint. The grounds were stunning, views were gorgeous, the horses were quiet and Robert was a great guide! It was such a memorable experience for us, we can’t thank you enough for the beautiful memories made! We would recommend you to anyone and everyone! Additionally, my mom got very sick after her ride due to personal/medical issues and the staff went above and beyond to care for her. Their compassion and kindness was truly appreciated!

We had a great ride. We went out as a smaller group of 6 with our guide Sarah. We went through beautiful forest scenery and then out into a clearing with fantastic views of the mountains. Horses were great and the ranch grounds were very pretty.
