We pick up all customers using several vehicles. You will not be driven around the city from hotel to hotel for hours before we leave Auckland Rotorua is located in the North Island of New Zealand and is famous for its beauty, culture, hospitable locals, learn about Maori culture,and see the thermal activity. Add Waiotapu, Polynesian Spa or Maori Concert - this is added value - not in place of Te Puia This tour is flexible, with options to leave from and return to Auckland, or leave from Auckland and finish in Rotorua. If you book the one way option this leaves you in Rotorua. If you do not buy additional options you will have free time to either explore on your own without a guide or extra time at Te Puia. You can book this tour one way and finish in Rotorua or return to Auckland at the end of the day. Guaranteed departure - Due to low numbers and sustained losses caused by Covid 19, until further notice we will need a minimum of 4 people (or price equivalent) to run tours

We pickup for free at all Central Auckland accomodation, hotels, apartments, etc. We only go to the hotels/accomodation which are booked for that day. We also offer a subsidised shuttle service for people staying out of the city centre to bring them to meet the tour coach. Please liaise with ... us re where you are to be picked up.     Located inside Te Puia this centre is where you can see the end product and the local Maori practising + learning the traditional carving, weaving and other traditional arts .

Rotorua day trip from Auckland

Wonderful experience, our driver Bunty was excellent as well as the tour. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel without problems. It was a very smooth process from the beginning to the end. Very informative and fun with interesting facts and commentary throughout the drive. The drive out there went through some beautiful areas. The Te Piua experience was great we learned so much about the Māori culture, the geothermal features were nice and the opportunity to see Kiwis was wonderful and unexpected. The artisans were wonderful. The buffet lunch was outstanding. After lunch a local guide took us around Rotorua, some of the highlights included the Redwoods, the blue and green lakes and some local points of interest in town. All were nice and very interesting. We met back up with Bunty for the return trip to Auckland. It was a full day but highly recommend the experience.
