In Salzburg you join to the only and only Original Sound of Music Tour starting at 02:00 pm Relive your favorite scenes from the classic musical "The Sound of Music" See filming sites around the city and get more historical background information during your photo stops at Leopoldskron as well at the Original Sixteen Going on Seventeen Gazebo … before heading out to the beautiful Salzkammergut once again. This time the tour takes on a different most scenic route to Mondsee. In the picturesque little town visit the von Trapp Wedding Chapel.     Spend 2.5 hours in Hallstatt, stroll around have a coffee break, visit the museums, take a short freey ride or just enjoy breath-taking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains .. your stay in Hallstatt 2 hours 30 minutes

    Time and weather depending, take the funicular up to the Skywalk – an observation deck 1,100 ft. above the roofs of Hallstatt and enjoy the breathtaking views please consider about an hour when doing this attraction, your visit to the town will be then 1.5 h only visit to the Saltmines is timewise NOT possible

Great tours

We visited beautiful Hallstatt in the morning with Peter who was very knowledgeable and with the small group we had a wonderful experience. Then in the afternoon we did the sound of music tour with Leo. Leo made the trip worthwhile and was interesting and funny and engaged my kids really well. Would highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Leo and Peter!

LET’S START FROM THE VERY BEGINNING

THIS IS A SUPERB TOUR! We started off in the morning to Hallstatt and it snowed so the view was so pretty~ literally felt like I was in the Frozen movie. The Skywalk was amazing as well and I witnessed a wedding proposal up there. The guide was very friendly and driver was great too. Thankful for that. We had 2.5hours to explore the town when we reached and made it back to Salzburg at about 1.40pm, just in time to catch the 2pm bus for the Original Sound of Music tour. It was just magical being on this bus, singing along to the tunes with the lovely guide who was so young-spirited and fun-loving. The driver also was having so much fun helping us create great atmospheres for the songs to sing with. I really hope they make a 60th anniversary video and have a great celebration for this wonderful movie:) if ever there’s a remake, I hope that it will still be just as good^^ HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL to join this tour!

Fantastic lake,amazing scenes.It was an excelent tour with many interesting information provided.Recommended.It was very cold (xmas period) so be prepared with watm clothes.The ferry ride in the lake does not worth to spend your time there.Choose the funicular for a more breathtaking view of the lake and the snowy surroundings!
