Overview

San Juan Done Right! Experience Old San Juan in a delightful ode to its seat of honor within the history of the New World’s conquest. Receive insight into the life of the common city dwellers, as well as the military origins of the Spanish stronghold that is the City of Saint John the Baptist. Our licensed tour guide will impart on a walking tour along the Paseo de la Princesa (Princess Promenade) to enter the old city through the historic San Juan Gate. Believed standing since approximately 1540. Once inside see Plazuela La Rogativa. Then it’s on to visit the Basilica Manor Cathedral San Juan Bautista, full of devotion, architecture, and art. Our guide walks you through its history and mystique. Later learn about La Fortaleza, today it remains the official residence of Puerto Rico’s governor. Close by, take pictures of Cristo Chapel, Pigeon Park and La Casa Estrecha (the Narrow House), one of the skinniest houses in the world. Finish with a Piña Colada at Barrachina Restaurant.

    El Capitolio de Puerto Rico was to become the House of Representatives and the location for senators’ offices. The building faces the Atlantic Ocean and has a somewhat intimidating design. The entire structure is a wonderful example of Neoclassical Revival Style architecture. You can visit this place with our certified tour guide.

Amazing tour!

We were a group of 6 with 5 seniors so we decided to go with the driving tour. We had an amazing trip with Narayan as our tour guide. We had a lot of luggage since we were going on a cruise right after the tour. Narayan and his wife were very accommodating, getting a separate van just to pick up and store our luggage while we were on the tour. Narayan was very knowledgeable about the city and also an amazing navigator. There were a lot of events throughout the city so many roads were closed but he was able to get us to most of the spots as planned. You can tell he is a true local grown up in the city. We got to see many interesting places but also didn't feel rushed during the tour. (He is also a great singer as well). Highly recommend taking his tour while visiting Puerto Rico!!

I Can’t Recommend Enough!

Narayan was amazing! He met me at my Airbnb and was able to make the group feel right at home. He’s knowledgeable and funny. His tour is thought provoking and educational, while also being fun and entertaining. I get the feeling he caters it to the group as he gets a feel for the group. I can’t recommend this enough! It’s mostly driving, but he stops to let you take photos at several places.

The host Naryan was spectacular. He showed Puerto Rico in a great light. He knows the island from A-Z and is a great native son. He did not shy away from the islands history. I would highly recommend this tour.

Narayan was an excellent guide. I throughly enjoyed the tour. He has a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. He is a compassionate person with great love for the island. Oh and he is an excellent driver.
