Learn how to roll 'sfoglia' (fresh pasta) by hand and how to prepare 2 simple different kinds of pasta from scratch with your Cesarina. As the icing on the cake you will learn to prepare also the iconic Tiramisu. Share your passion for the Italian cuisine as you make new friends in this hands-on cooking class. Discover, cook and experience the most iconic Italian dishes with expert home cooks in their own homes. This is a shared cooking class held in a carefully selected local home in Lecce. Our Cesarine (the name of our hosts) will welcome you like part of the family and will teach you their family cooking secrets for an authentic culinary experience.

Pasta and Booze and Laughs

Lucia was so lovely - welcoming us into her home for a night of pasta making and cocktails and a ton of laughs. The entire evening was simple and authentic and personal. It felt like being at your sister's house for dinner and she puts you to work because OF COURSE you're supposed to help. Thanks for a wonderful evening, Lucia. XO

Wonderful pasta and tiramisu cooking class with Pierangela

The cooking class with Pierangela was a wonderful experience. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that we were the only people in the class. Pierangela taught us first how to make a delicious tiramisu then both orecchiette and cavatelli. All were done from scratch. Once the food was cooked we sat down to a scrumptious dinner with her husband and 2 year old daughter. She cooked some additional goodies to go along with what we prepared together. This was one of the most memorable things we did on our 9 day visit around Puglia. By the time we finished 3 hours later we felt like family with her little one calling my wife Santina NONA. We have already made the tiramisu twice since arriving home 3 weeks ago and it it was great - she taught us well. If you visit Lecce this cooking class with Pierangela is a MUST DO experience!!!
