Overview

The homemade pasta course allows you to learn the production techniques of orecchiette and sagne, typical Apulian pasta, with a real professional cook. The course will take place in a beautiful 1400s courtyard, in the heart of the center of Lecce. In addition to a unique experience, the production technique, once learned, will be useful for you to use it to your friends once you return home. In addition to making the pasta, it will be cooked and eaten on site.

Itinerary

The homemade pasta, orecchiette and sagne ncannulate laboratory will allow you to produce the typical Apulian pasta, LE ORECCHIETTE, with your own hands. Together with a professional cook you will learn how to create pasta, starting from water and flour. Immediately afterwards they will be cooked and eaten in the 15th century courtyard. The course will also take place in a beautiful 1400s courtyard, in the heart of the historic center of Lecce, next to the Archaeological Museum. With the help of this cook you will learn the art and the creation of this famous pasta, so once you have learned the technique you can take it home and let your friends taste it. Immediately afterwards, the pasta will be cooked and we will all eat together inside the 15th century courtyard.

This was an amazing class. The staff and even the classmates were all wonderful people. Erica and her mother were both so sweet and kind and very patient. They also were extremely informative and overall enjoyable to be around. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to have a fun friendly night in Lecce

It was such a wonderful experience, and we had a great time. The evening was fantastic, and the place was beautiful – I immediately felt welcome. The hosts were incredibly friendly and warm. The value for money was very fair. We enjoyed amazing wine and delicious homemade pasta – simply exquisite! The experience was extraordinary, the staff were amazing, very caring and friendly. Our daughter who doesn’t normally eat tomatoes finally took to like it thanks to the delicious tomato sauce made by the wonderful Italian Nonna. We also met some interesting people from all over the world. Totally recommend it!

Run by a local family that welcome you with open arms in the Italian spirit of family. Highly skilled and generationally handed down knowledge of pasta making Super fun by yourself if wanting to meet people or as a couple or with friends. A must do when in Lecce! Don’t eat much beforehand, you eat what you make…. And it’s a lot :)
