My family of 5 came on the coffee & chocolate tour as part of an Amstar excursion, and it was such a lovely start to our day! Richard was SO friendly and funny, and the whole thing was super informative. The treats were delicious

Our tour was amazing. Verny our guide was excellent. We have young children and he was very patient, kind and knowledgeable. He is the kind of guide that makes excursions like this memorable. He helped make sure the kids saw everything they wanted and got an amazing view of it all. One of kind memory would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this tour company enough. Anthony was extremely responsive to all of my questions and was extremely accommodating when our group sizes changed from 7 to 9 at the last minute. The prices are competitive and the experience was priceless. Initially, we booked round trip airport transportation and the Chocolate and Coffe Plantation Tour with them. However, after such a wonderful experience with our tour operator, Verny, we decided to cancel a tour booked with another company and do a second tour with OntheRoad Costa Rica. Verny was wonderful! He was extremely kind and accommodated two individuals in the group who had some mild mobility restrictions. He was very knowledgeable about the Costa Rican history and culture and eager to share the knowledge with us to enhance our tour experience. The service was above and beyond! Our safety was his primary concern while also providing us an amazing tour experience at the Llanos de Cortés Waterfall, the coffe and chocolate plantation, the safari boat tour, the rainforest hike where we saw so many beautiful animals. The traditional lunches provided were delicious. The entire experience allowed us to have an absolutely wonderful trip. I cannot recommend this tour company enough and Verny was a stellar tour operator. They are officially our tour operator for future trips to Costa Rica! Pura Vida!!

We had an amazing day that was organized by OffRoadTravels. I highly recommend this tour for families or anyone who wants to have a full day with a mix of activities!! For our tour, we were picked up in Tamarindo and went to a beautiful waterfall and swam. Then, we did a wildlife walk through a preserve where our guide showed us monkeys, Toucans, multiple types of frogs, sloths and reptiles. Seeing the sloth in the wild up close and personal was the highlight of the entire Costa Rica trip for most people in my family!! Next, we had lunch and then went on a 1 hour coffee tour. The coffee tour was perfect because we got to see plants and learn and taste, but we did not have to spend 1/2 day of our vacation on just coffee & chocolate. Our guide was so nice and very educated about wildlife and Costa Rica and made the whole experience seamless for us!! It was one of the best days of our 2 week trip. Off road travels is able to curate more unique and personalized tours than the same stuff everybody else does. I highly recommend!
