This was our 4th Viator / Trip Advisor excursion in Iceland and like the others, it delivered everything promised. We left about 30 minutes late because we waited for some other passengers who could not get there sooner tendering off the ship. The first waterfall stop was only a few minutes out of town. It was a bit underwhelming but the best we saw that day within easy reach of the parking lot. On the south coast, they are a lot bigger. The black sand beach was interesting and offered two levels of trail, one high up and reachable with wheel chairs and walkers and one down the steps to the beach. Views were very good. Restroom stops were well spaced. One of the most interesting stops was a 2.5km walk along the cliff tops to see huge colonies of nesting sea birds and great views. My wife was turned off by the distance but the trail was smooth and had minimal elevation change. At age 80 wearing an ankle brace and a walking stick, I had no difficulty completing it in about 30 minutes. The final stop was a historic church that was interesting but not exceptional. Our guide Jennifer was knowledgable and easy to understand. For the length, the tour was more expensive than our longer south coast small group tour but perhaps that was due to the remoteness of the place.
