We take you to see one of the most beautiful reefs on the island during a tour through the crystal clear waters of Cozumel in our incredible glass-bottom boat, where you will have the opportunity to snorkel and see the coral formations, marine life and the wide variety of species that we will observe in the wonderful dzul-ha and paradise reefs. join us on that amazing adventure! Also, snorkel gear, cold beers, soft drinks, and water are provided. *Ideal for a shore excursion or first-time visitors with limited time. *Snorkel in underwater reefs with a guide; snorkel equipment included. *Choose from multiple departure times to easily fit this tour into your schedule. * Along the coast of Cozumel aboard the glass bottom chivis del mar. *In the duration of 1 hour 30 minutes of the tour, transportation time is not included.

Itinerary

Dzul-Ha Reef

The second place that we will visit would be the dzul-ha reef where you can also enjoy the coral formations and take very beautiful souvenir photos. At the end of the activity we return to the Marina.

In this adventure along the coast of Cozumel aboard the Chivis del Mar, it will take us 15 minutes to get ready to enter the water at each stop. We will also give you drinks on board and fruit as an appetizer.

the first place that we will visit would be the paradise reef where you can also enjoy the coral formations and statues for take very beautiful souvenir photos

FOR PASSENGERS FROM MAINLAND: remember that this activity begins in Cozumel. We recommend arriving at the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal 45 minutes prior to your ferry departure so that you can arrive on time. When you get off the ferry and go out into the street, on the left side you will find a taxi station, when boarding you tell the driver that you are going to Marina Caleta with the sea chivis and you must leave them where we are. The journey by taxi from the ferry terminal to Marina Caleta is approximately 25 minutes. If you do not show up on time, we will not be able to help you and we will not be able to provide you with a refund.
Recommended items: flip flops that can get wet, sunscreen not allowed in this activity due to reef protection, swimsuit under the garments, extra t-shirt to protect yourself from the sun while swimming, a towel and dry clothes to change into.
For our cruise clients who arrive at the port: Puerta Maya and/or SSA MEXICO, they are only 2km (5 minutes by car and 20-25 minutes walking) from the meeting point that is in the marina caleta.
Minimum legal drinking age is 18 years.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the activity.
In the 2 hour duration of the tour, transportation time is not included.
For Cruise Ship Passengers: This activity follows Cozumel time, which is not always the same as your cruise ship time, keep this in mind
Show Up 15 min Before Departure time.

Excellent experience/reasonably priced family friendly

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. It was a private tour with just my family. We were able to bring my 1 year old grandson and he enjoyed looking at the fish thru the glass bottom boat while the rest of the family snorkeled the reef. Lots of beautiful colorful fish. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great excursion. Affordable. Professional. Fun. A great learning experience too. We had a family ranging from age 5 to 60 years old and we all had a good time. Highly recommend!

Highlight of our Holiday!

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Barbara and Captain Jose were so welcoming and encouraging. They brought my family of 7 to two amazing locations and we saw loads of different fish and sea life. They were aware of our safety and comfort the whole time and I’d highly recommend. We got some great photos too! A true highlight.

Fabulous family snorkeling

We were given a recommendation to use Chivas del Mar and are so glad we booked it. Our family of 4 doesn’t snorkel much and we had a couple who were a little anxious. Barbara was patient, explained what we were seeing and answered all of our questions. All 4 of us had a fabulous experience snorkeling in Cozumel and enjoyed our tour!

Perfect Experience

Oh my god I couldn't not have asked for a better excursion for our cruise. We ended up taking this one accidentally. We had originally booked another excursion and didn't find out it would be possible until we were already on the boat. We chose the cheapest option since we had already lost out on our other non refundable tickets. Couldn't have asked for a better accident. The tour guide was incredibly educated and took some incredible photos for us. The captain was friendly as could be and made sure we stayed hydrated. The location is only about a mile away from international cruise terminal and so we decided to walk. The whole way was sidewalked. 10/10 recommend could not ask for a better experience for a shore excursion that's about 2 hours
