Richard was right on time, with great communication and a very clean, comfortable car. It is a pleasure to be driven round by a local! I’m sure he would’ve provided more details had we asked. He whisked us off to Stonehenge before the crowds arrived and we had ample time to explore on our own. Of course Stonehenge is a “must see”. We were then taken to Old Sarum (which we had never heard of) and were blown away by the history here!! We had the place almost all to ourselves, saw a handful of couples walking their well mannered dogs and overall Old Sarum was the unexpected gem of the day. Next was on to Salisbury Cathedral to see where the stone from Old Sarum went … it was a stunning church with so much to explore. Richard was ever patient while we enjoyed a light lunch in the town before navigating brutal traffic back to Bath. (Luckily he has taxi status so able to work some short cuts). We were back to the hotel exactly as we planned and had the best day of our entire vacation. You are in excellent hands with Richard and I had full confidence booking through Viator
