Overview

Embark on a journey to the enigmatic Stonehenge - a mystical collection of 5000-year-old Neolithic stones, located on the rolling plains of Salisbury, Wiltshire. This monumental stone circle is still very much a place of strong spiritual and esoteric significance - a haunting echo from Britain's forgotten past and remains a mystery as to why the stones were placed here and what purpose they served. There is also an excellent visitors’ centre that will help to shed light on the fascinating people who lived and worshipped at Stonehenge.  Salisbury Cathedral is a short drive away, and what a surprise is in for you as you get to the splendour of this 13th-century English Gothic masterpiece, take in the tallest spire in Great Britain, and view the Magna Carta (which dates back to 1215), one of democracy’s oldest documents.   Marvel at the oldest working, medieval clock in the world and enjoy a relaxing transfer back to Central London after the tour.

We are putting in place some extra special measures for all future tour activities: All our vehicles will be sanitised with disinfectant cleaning by their owner drivers immediately after each service. Presentation stops will be conducted in quiet open air locations – away from crowded hotspots. Driver Guide hosts shall wash and sanitise their hands on a frequent basis throughout each service. Hand sanitiser will be available to all of our guests at all times while on tour. Standard measures which enhance your protection: The transparent partition screen provides a unique private passenger compartment for the passengers. A safe distance exists between guests and their Driver Guide hosts – exceeding the current minimum 2 metres set by government guidelines. The passenger compartment has a separately controlled air-conditioning system.

I climb the Spire at Salisbury Cathedral. Amazing

The Experience was like no other and so surreal. You have to climb the Spire to make sure you experience the view also.

Relaxing way to see Stonehenge

We looked at several tours that went to more sites but wanted to take our time. This tour was just right. Mick picked us up promptly for our hotel and drove us out to Salisbury to see the cathedral. He walked around with us without being overbearing and let us go at our leisure. Always around if we had questions. Afterwards he found a terrific pub for us to enjoy lunch and then on to Stonehenge. Afterwards he drove us the 2 hours back to central London while we napped. Terrific day and fantastic guide.

Amazing tour! Our tour guide Barry was just awesome. So full of knowledge and did everything possible to provide us with comfort. I learn so much in this tour about the history of the sites we got to visit. A must for anyone who travels to London.
