Overview

Join this 9.5-hour guided small-group tour from Brisbane to explore the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Visit the iconic beach destination of Noosa and the famous Eumundi Markets. Get excellent mountain and beach views. Step into the artisan village of Montville and the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve with its stunning views of the Glass House Mountains. There is a brief stop at the Ginger Factory on the way back. Tour is limited to a maximum of 21 travellers for a more personalized experience.

Meeting points

Tours depart at 7:45am (Check In 7:35am) from the loading zone in front of 222 Margaret Street, Brisbane. This is outside the Skytower Apartments and between Albert and Edward Streets. Hotel pickups are not available.

Itinerary

  • The Original Eumundi Markets

    The Markets only operate on a Wednesday and Saturday. On Fridays the tour visits Eumundi Square which is a mini version of the Markets at the same location. You can't go the Sunshine Coast without visiting the Markets which has been operating for over 40 years and now has over 400 stalls displaying mostly local produce and craft.

  • Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve

    This excellent facility will give you the best views of the Glasshouse Mountains and Brisbane in the distance. This is a brief stop with just a few minutes to look around the facility.

  • Montville Visitor Information Centre

    This artist village has grown into a major tourist destination with a eclectic range of art and craft. Recommend you grab a cup of coffee and browse the shops.

  • Noosa Main Beach

    Our main destination for the day this is one of Australia's premier tourist districts and beach. Set next to the National Park this picturesque district is a "must see'. Visit the upmarkets shops, take a stroll or swim at Main Beach. Stroll along the coast to the Noosa Heads National Park. Plenty to see and do.

  • The Ginger Factory

    To break our journey on the way back from Noosa we will have a brief comfort stop at the iconic Ginger Factory. Take a walk through the rainforest, browse the gift shop, or grab a coffee or ice cream.

Fun , stunning scenery and lots of laughs.

Highly recommend this tour, all the locations were stunning and the small taste of each location made me want to return to each area again. The driver Pete was super friendly with a great sense of humour and his knowledge of the area was 2nd to none.

Great day out in Sunshine Coast. Pete our driver and guide was friendly and relaxed. Would have liked to have more time at Noosa Heads but it was good to get a taste of the beautiful town during this tour.

Great trip. Bruce was friendly, welcoming and a terrific guide with his encyclopedic knowledge of the trees, plants, the wildlife, the history of the areas we passed and everything else. We covered a large area in the time but the time at each stop was judged right. The Eumundi markets are well worth a visit, but my favourite place was our stop in Montville which was a quaint town with beautiful upmarket craft shops. The weather was quite hazy so the view of the glass house mountains was restricted but still a great experience to see them.

Great way to discover some of the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. Take your swimming costume with you in case you fancy a swim at Noosa.
