Overview

Experience the best of the city and the outdoors during this full-day tour of the island of Tenerife. Get picked up from your hotel by a local guide and head to the very top of the island to see Los Gigantes, majestic cliffs that provide panoramic views of the island below. Puerto de La Cruz or El Puerto, as its known locally, is the next stop where your guide will recommend a restaurant for lunch (not included in the tour price). After lunch you will have some free time to discover this city that overlooks the ocean and is surrounded by fields, banana plantations and vineyards and, off course, always under the watchful eye of El Teide.Then explore the seaside area of Candelaria, stopping along the way for photos and insight from the guide. After a full-day touring the entire island, get dropped off back at your hotel.

To end our cultural tour around the island we stop at the ocean side Basilica in Candelaria which is the Patron Saint Capital of the Canaries, with the famous Black Madonna, and in the square on its ocean front you will see the statues of the Guanche Menceyes (Kings) the first inhabitants of the Canaries.

Excellent trip.Christopher was a great guide.He was very informative and had a good sense of humour.His driver was very competent.Our group of four friends had a lovely trip around the Tenerife.

Fabulous day showing a great friend highlights of Tenerife . Fantastic guide Christophe and our driver Jose was great too. We visited many of my favourite places in the island some of which I have not been to for many years. A really great day!

Great experience, amazing views

We had a comfortable air-conditioned bus that picked us up from our hotel. Good communication from the office as well arranging our pick up. The tour guide was brilliant, he was fluent in many languages and provided lots of useful information in 3 different languages. The scenery was amazing. I highly recommend this trip if you want to get to know the north of the island. Had a great day out. Excellent service!
