This tour of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE BATH for English and German speaking visitors is suitable for singles, couples, groups and private groups alike and starts on Pulteney Bridge, leading to unique historical sites of Bath and ‘hidden’ places.In doing so I intend to bring this fascinating city closer to visitors from several historical and modern days perspectives. THE BEATLES IN BATH 1963 Visiting the Pavilion Concert Hall and Photo Gallery where The Beatles performed on June 10th, 1963 , as part of their U.K. tour with Roy Orbison. Details of this event will be highlighted as well as topics about The Beatles' legacy including why their Hamburg days were so important in becoming the most successful band of all times. A stopover at the Square Piano Restaurant by The Roman Bath is possible on special request to pay a tribute to John Lennon while your host plays 'Imagine' on the Restaurant piano. The stopover does not cause a diversion of the tour .

Memorable pleasant tour of Bath

A huge thank you to Ulrich and Viator for this tour in Bath. We only had few hours in Bath and this tour certainly ticked the box for us. Ulrich was very informative on Bath and its history and we not only got a great overview but we walked to all the important historical sites. Great chats along the way about the Beatles too and where they once performed. Thank you Ulrich for a great informative easy tour and an entertaining afternoon.

Pleasant Walking Tour of Bath!

Ullrich is a great tour guide and we were blessed with a private tour! He offered so much historical information about the city of Bath and walked us through areas we would not have gone to. He showed us the venue where the Beatles performed in 1963 and gave us some history about their days in Hamburg. It was nice to chat about the Beatles and see the city sites of York. Ullrich is quite the amazing guy!

The best way to learn about Bath

We got very detailed info about facts related to Bath history. Ulrich was very personable throughout the 2+ hours of walking around the city. Be prepared to walk up some gentle inclines. We were on foot the entire time. Beatle fans beware. I recommend the Beatle connection be eliminated totally because the only discussion of them was the fact they performed at one of the buildings we walked by.

Want to give a shout out to Ulrich for conducting such a marvelous tour and we did learn quite alot about the history of Bath and such great stories about the Beatles I had not heard about and I know quite alot about them.
