    The Main Palace conserved, The Official House of The Kingdom of Granada. It is a visit that focuses on the Nasrid palaces in depth. The guide will explain the Nasrid and Islamic art in detail, we will read the walls of the Alhambra contemplating one of the jewels of Islamic art in the peninsula.

  • Paseo de los Tristes

    Walking along the Paseo de los Tristes is one of the essentials when you come to the city, but why isn't it on the maps? When you arrive in Granada, if you are looking for the Paseo de los Tristes, map in hand, you can go crazy touring the city. In no street map or GPS you will find reference to this famous place in the city. It is one of the most recommended places in any travel guide and by any self-respecting Grenadian, but it does not appear anywhere. The Paseo de los Tristes is in the Valle del Darro, between the hills of the Alhambra and the Albaicín, an idyllic place. For many, the most beautiful street in the world next to Carrera del Darro. Colors and essences, palaces, churches, convents, museums and medieval buildings surround it, making it the ideal place to sit and rest or enjoy the beauty of Granada.

  • Keep in mind that The Alhambra closes every December 25 and January 1, we will always assign the visit either for December 26 or for January 2
  • After finishing the visit, each client can visit the rest of the Alhambra on their own, such as the Generalife and the Alcazaba without a guide.
  • If you have not received an email informing you of the start by 4 days before your tour, please contact the tour supplier. The starting time printed in your voucher is approximate. The exact start time will be sent to you by email or SMS. Please provide a valid phone number in case the tour supplier needs to call you.
  • Once the tour is confirmed, the supplier will send you the appointment time with your tour guide as soon as possible via Viator or phone.
  • Due to the great demand of tickets and to the restriction of the number of visitors per day, we recommend you to book at least one month in advance.

My husband and I had the great fortune of touring the Alhambra and Nasrid Palace with Mohammed. Mohammed’s in depth knowledge of art, architecture, religious and cultural history made the palaces come alive. Our private tour lasted three hours and was well worth it! Mohammed is kind and friendly and eager to share his encyclopedic knowledge of the complex with visitors. I recommended Mohammed as a guide to my friend and her daughter. They too , thoroughly enjoyed spending time learning about the Alhambra’s remarkable history with Mohammed. If you are considering visiting the Alhambra and want a private tour with an English speaking (as well as Spanish & Arabic) tour guide, Mohammed is the best!
