Very interesting day and loved the train ride.

Published on Mar, 2025

Fantastic time here we began with a ride on the mail rail which is a train that takes you underground on the old postal sorting train network. This was very enjoyable is a tad snug as this was designed for parcels rather than people. The information was interesting and we then made our way to the postal museum and took a leisurely stroll around and had many interesting details about the hiatory of the mail during WW2 for example. Would highly recommend it was a mid-week day when we went so imagine the mail rail in particular would get very busy during peak times.

Very interesting day and loved the train ride.
