Khan is a wonderful tour guide as he is not only extremely knowledgable about Spanish history, he is also so personable, funny and fluent in both English and Spanish. He was on time for an 8am pick up at our hotel. The car he used was very clean and he had water stocked for us and a car charger for electronic appliances. This was our first experience with a private tour and after our experience we feel that our money was well spent due to the flexibility and ease that came with the personal service: we were able to really cover a lot of ground and see a lot of sites in a short period of time. There was a set itinerary used as a guideline but Khan was also flexible with our interests and time. Traveling as a couple, we always have to ask other people to take our photos but with a private tour guide, we had our own personal photographer built in. With his vast experience he knew all the perfect (& least congested) locations to snap that “picture perfect”shot. In Toledo, the one regret was not seeing the inside of Santo Tome to view the El Grecos painting as there was a long line outside of the church. In Segovia, one of the many highlights was trying the infamous cuisine of the area and Khan was able to secure a reservation at the oldest (& busiest) restaurant in the area and it was delicious. We really appreciated how Khan gave us a detailed view/explanation of the sites and the area but also gave us free personal time to explore on our own so we never felt rushed. Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend booking this private tour with Khan. When visiting the city of Madrid, it is a must to take a day trip to visit Toledo and Segovia. You will not regret it.
