Overview

It is a different experience from those offered by the City of Cartagena and it is the only Mud Volcano on the Caribbean Coast They will receive an educational and historical talk from the specialized guide about the creation of the volcano and the benefits of doing a mud therapy, inside the volcano they can also take photos and massages, At the end of their time there they go to the swamp where they will remove the mud, between the educational talk, the time in the mud and the talk in the swamp. After this, they will go to an Eco hotel, the tour will last approximately 20 minutes, there they will have a typical Cartagena lunch and they will be able to enjoy the rest of the afternoon making use of the facilities, swimming pools and beach

    In the Mud Volcano you can enjoy a great Mud therapy, where you can relax, and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, after this they go to the Cienaga where they will remove the Mud and bathe, they will be directed to the vehicle to continue with the second part of the excursion where they will get their typical Cartagena lunch in a large Eco hotel surrounded by the right to use the Facilities

Samuel was an excellent tour guide, very accommodating and thorough. Great communicator, from the pick up, to the drop off. I thought the he provided good instructions to follow and for the tourist best interest. Even though the place is busy with other buses and tourist, and you may not know what to expect Samuel instructions were spot and you can trust him and his crew while doing the experience.

A great trip from the start, easy pick up and a comfortable ride to the mud bath, long lines to get in the mud but overall an amazing experience! The lunch and beach were a huge bonus on top of that!

A completely unique and intense experience!! You climb up to a deck on the volcano rim, then slide into warm mud up to your neck. It's like falling in to a bowl of gravy, with 20 strangers. Locals will massage you with mud, take your picture, and wash you off, all for 20K pesos (about US $5), totally worth it. Then lunch & a couple hours at a beach resort.
