Overview

This tour already includes all tickets and one meal. First we visit the Suytun Cenote, which is an underground cave surrounded by stalactites with shallow water, so you can see the fish easily, its natural vault has holes through which the sunlight enters creating a spectacular landscape ideal for taking the best photographs. Afterwards we moved to Oxman Cenote, one of the most recognized and popular cenotes in Valladolid for its beauty, spectacular crystal clear waters and nature. Enjoy a delicious buffet with a drink included. We finish with a guided tour in the magical village of Valladolid where you can contemplate beautiful colonial mansions, appreciate the beautiful architecture of the site as well as enjoy a relaxing walk through the Plaza de Armas. Some of the nearby buildings we visited are the Municipal Palace, the old convent of San Bernardino de Siena and the Parish Church of San Servacio.

Itinerary

Viajes Colibrí Yucatán TOURS

This is the first meeting point where we pick up travelers for this tour. Departure from here is punctual at 07:00 am (with a maximum tolerance time of 10 minutes). Later we go to the next meeting point which is the Santa Ana park and we finish at the third meeting point which is the Fiesta Americana hotel. Before leaving Mérida we stop at a store to buy water and snacks for the road. Once we have everyone on board and after making the stop at the store, we begin our journey to the first point of this incredible tour. The time to get to the Suytun cenote is 2 hours on the road.

Suytun Cenote

Marvel at the interior of this impressive cavern cenote. Entrance to the cenote is included and a mandatory life jacket is provided. Here the stay is 1 hour and a half to swim and take photos. There is also the presentation of 2 Mayan warriors who have purification rituals.

Cenote San Lorenzo Oxman

Discover this beautiful open-type cenote located in the Hacienda San Lorenzo. Entrance to the cenote is included and a mandatory life jacket is provided. Here the stay is 1 hour and a half to swim, tour the facilities and use the pool and hammocks.

Hacienda Oxman Cenote

After swimming in these beautiful cenotes we went to the San Lorenzo hacienda restaurant to eat a delicious buffet included with a refillable drink (flavored water).

Valladolid

Enjoy the visit to this beautiful and colonial magical town. The stay is 1 hour and a half, in the company of the guide discover the most important places such as the Cathedral, the convent, the museum, the friars' causeway and the Choco Story store; You will have free time to visit the main square and take photos at the letters of Valladolid.

Viajes Colibrí Yucatán TOURS

We finish this tour at the same meeting point where we picked you up in the morning, starting with the last one which is the Fiesta Americana hotel and ending at the Viajes Colibrí office. The travel time back to Mérida is 2 hours from Valladolid.

The cenote suytun and cenote oxman are very different but both offer great experience in its own way. The tour was organised very well.

Excellent tour On time. Excellent guide. It was perfect. Cenotes are great and enjoyable. I think we need more time in Valladolid because one hour is not enough. The tour was wonderful. I recommend the tour !!!!

I highly recommend Colibri. I chose this company due to the reviews and they were willing to do a trip with even just one guest. It was perfect! During this day trip to the cenotes and Valladolid, I felt like I was traveling with friends--although we were two solo travelers and Alberto, our driver and tour guide, who had just met that morning. Throughout the day, Alberto shared lots of information about the Yucatan's history, traditions, and food. At each stop, we went at a leisurely pace, as there were only two of us, and Alberto constantly pointed out curiosities along the way. I definitely will book another excursion with Colibri on any future trip to Merida, and would welcome having Alberto as my guide.
