Overview

Incredible half day tour of a traditional South African Tribal village. With daily departures, this tour will introduce you to the culture, history and personalities of the Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Besotho and Ndeble tribes of the the "rainbow' nation. The highlight of the tour is a drumming and traditional dancing session that will leave your senses tingling. Your tour guide is a colorful and charismatic Zulu 'warrior' who will take you through the various villages. Try your hand at throwing a Zulu spear ( called Mhkondo) at an impala skin and lunch is for free. An truly magical experience that will leave you with an incredible overview of traditional South Africa.

Great Tour and Guide!

It was super interesting to learn about the indigenous peoples of South Africa and was fun to enjoy a meal there. Ben was a great guide! He was easy to talk to and helped elevate the experience!

Very interesting day tour

This was a very interesting tour for us. We learnt a lot about the various cultures and tribes of South Africa. Our guide from soul adventure was amazing!! We loved this company. They are super chilled out and we felt right at home with them. You can see these guys love what they do. Highly recommend this day tour if you are looking to kill time. No long driving involved. Lovely lunch included.

We only spent one day in Johannesburg, Shade. gave us a terrific experience in one day. The tour we booked is supposed to be between 9am to 3pm. However We arrived early in the morning around 7:30am, he is already there holding a board with our name on it. Later he brought us to have coffee for us to have a refresh start of the day.

Shade is a genuine young man with Pleasant manner. It is very comfortable to be with him in the trip. He is knowledgeable yet modest. He is very patient with us changing plans. He sincerely tried to help us maximize the experience. He will stop at the roadside for us to see lions. After bringing us to Lesedi tribes, he recommended us to visit the cradle of humankind while only charge a reasonable amount of fees. The tour finished perfectly on time for us to arrive airport around 6pm to catch the flight.

Because of Shade, Johanasburg left a great impression to us. The scenery,the people, the culture. We will come back with our daughters one day, we will find Shade to be our tour guide for sure. I strongly recommend this agency and Shade!

I used Soul Adventures for my day tour to the Lesedi Cutlural Village. They replied to my inquires straight away and they went out of their way to cater for my requirements. The guide arrived on time and he turned out to be one of the nicest guys I have met in my travels within South Africa. He had an absolute passion for what he did. I really felt welcomed and relaxed. Soul Adventures definitely do things way different to other companies as the personal touch just makes the experience that much more enjoyable. As for the cultural village? This is a must do thing to do!! The drumming and tribal dancing was out of this world. I left mesmerized. Thankyou Darren and Jubber for making our day tour a truly memorable one.
