Overview

The tour starts with a brief introduction. Then we will drive west, across to the island Kvaløya. We get a view of the Island of Tromsø from afar, and maybe we see some animals. We cross back into Tromsøya and we make a stop at the beach Telegrafbukta. After that we will drive through the city centre talking about the city and its history. We continue driving across the Tromsø bridge to the neighbourhood of Tromsdalen. We will make a stop at the Arctic Cathedral, one of the most emblematic buildings of Tromsø. To finish we will head to the base of the Cable Car (Fjellheisen) to go up to the upper station. Here we can enjoy the most spectacular view of the island of Tromsø and the group of islands behind it. In all our tours we accept wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. We also are prepared to guide people with visual or hearing impairments. And we always work on creating a comfortable experience for neurodivergent people as well.

Meeting points

Meeting at 09:50 at the Scandic Ishavshotel at Fredrik Langes gate 2, we will head out at 10 o’clock to explore Tromsø on our minibus. The guides is wearing an orange jacket with the logo of the company.

    Short stop to take some pictures. Our guide will tell you all about the Artctic Cathedral.

    We will go up Fjellheisen, the cable car of Tromsø to be able to appreciate the panoramic views of the island and its surroundings

  • Tromso Telegrafbukta

    Short walk at the beach.

Simply interesting and worthy!!!

This was our first tour and everything we saw was spectacular. The driver and guide was there on time, he was so friendly and very knowledgeable about each one of the places we visited. He provided us with all the information we needed to know and took beautiful pictures of us with his professional camera. This is the perfect tour that we highly recommend on your first day because it shows the most important landmarks of Tromso.

This tour group is not just for people with disabilities it’s for everyone. My husband and I had aTromso city tour, followed by a drive to the islands and trip to the cable car. Our guide Marina was lovely, so attentive and accommodating. She really made this tour a local experience. Would definitely use this company again

We did Tromso Fjord tour of Sommoroy and Kvaloya. Our tour guides Marina and Luai were super knowledgeable about the region and the landscape. We did several stops where we saw fjords, mountain peaks, reindeer and beautiful landscapes and all driving through snow. The tour guides Marina and Luai were also very warm. It was a great experience for our family.
