Coming from the north crete passing the monastery of S.George Selinari with its impressive gorge you reach one of the oldest and most successful oil producers at the small town of Neapolis. After a tour to the factory's facility the journey continues to the provincial capital Agios Nikolaos - the Saint Tropez of Crete. Even from a distance you shimmers against the multifaceted blue Mirabello Bay. Stroll along the harbor across the bridge you go to known Voulismeni see, a freshwater lake, as mysterious "Bottomless". After dive into the typical market life of Crete and do not miss honey, olive oil and spices take. After a Greek coffee or Frape in one of the cozy cafes continue to Kritsa, one of the most traditional villages of Crete.

In this magnificent setting is attempted to reproduce rare animals and release these birds born here back into your natural surroundings. It was a wonderful excursion: first we visited an olive oil factory where we were explained how olive oil is produced and there was also an olive oil tasting. Totally interesting!!! Then it was on to the town of Agios Nikolaos where we had some free time, beautiful! Then we went on to the Amazonas Park where you could learn a lot about the history of the park and see the animals. All in all it was a wonderful trip, you had enough information and free time and I can only recommend it to everyone!
