    Get ready to explore the market and learn about the culinary delights of Venice. With the guidance of your knowledgeable chef, you’ll have the opportunity to shop for fresh ingredients for your cooking class. The market is known for its abundance of local produce, seafood, and spices. As you wander through the market, soak in the lively atmosphere and get a glimpse into the daily life of Venetians.

    Once at the chef's home, roll up your sleeves and dive into the art of Italian cooking you’ll be guided through the preparation of authentic Italian dishes from scratch. You will start preparing the tiramisu. No Italian meal would be complete without it, prepare the mascarpone and soak the cookies in the, once ready it will wait in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest of the meal. Hi will show you all the secrets to making the best tomato sauce, and a few other pasta sauces. Depending on the season and the availability of produce you will prepare the second course (fish, Parmigiana or Risotto), as you knead, roll, and shape the dough, the tantalizing aromas of authentic Italian flavors fill the air, promising an unforgettable culinary experience. End your class by enjoying the fruits of your hard work, served with plenty of wine in a convivial atmosphere with good music and chating.

Rosalina was fabulous. What a wonderful way to spend a morning! Nothing like picking out a fresh fish and cooing it. We made pasta with semolina. Simple but delicious.

Rosanna was a wonderful tour guide of the Rialto Market and a terrific instructor for the hands-on cooking class. The pasta and tiramisu were fun to make and delicious to eat. All of the participants worked well together and had a very enjoyable time!

Our tour guide/chef was wonderful . She gave us an insiders and locals look at the market. The walk to the kitchen was enjoyable and the food we cooked was delicious. I never made pasta before but her instruction was clear and helped us make a delicious lunch!

Lorenzo was an absolute joy and the group had a really lovely time learning how to make ravioli, artichoke hearts and fish and tiramisu. The tour of the market was great but also sad to see how this livlihood has diminished over the years. I did end up buying some regional favorites. We had a great time! Everyone should take a cooking class with Lorenzo!
