Kyoto Bike Tour has you visit a whopping 5 top spot destinations of Kyoto all in one day on one epic adventure! Enjoy a stroll through the breathtaking Bamboo Forest, gaze at the glimmer of the gold as it reflects on the water at the Golden Pavilion, be inspired by one of the most iconic views of Kyoto from the mystical Kiyomizu Temple, weave through the traditional backstreets of one of Kyoto's geisha districts, take a spiritual walk through the magnificent red torii gates at the Fushimi Inari Shrine, and so much more! This is a full city tour of approximately 44km of riding and requires a moderate level of fitness. Basic bicycle riding skills and a sense of adventure is a requirement. We will travel at a leisurely pace with enough time to take in the sites and for a relaxing lunch stop. *Upgrade to a premium e-bike for an additional fee. A 2 wheel adventure around Kyoto

Amazing bike tour!

Rob was very experienced bike tour guide. He shared a lot of history and stories at each locations we visited. He also made sure everyone were safe during the rides. Got to see all highlight touristy spots and a couple of hidden gems were a bonus. I strongly recommend this tour if you are comfortable riding on trafficked streets.

Great way to experience Kyoto

Cass was an amazing guide and we very much enjoyed our cycling tour of Kyoto. We got to see a lot of different sites in various parts of the city. Although it was long and we were quite tired at the end it is something I can definitely recommend as a different way to experience Kyoto

What an amazing adventure! Don't be intimidated by the distance; it's a long day, but the e-bike made it enjoyable for someone like me who doesn't ride much. We visited several famous landmarks of course, but what I really enjoyed was winding through neighborhoods that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. I loved seeing the day to day activities of the locals such as kids walking to and from school, playing ball in the park, people coming and going to work. Our guide Ray (also owner of company) was so knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. Just sign up- you will love it!!

Hidden gems led by Rob, an unforgettable tour!!

When I tell you this tour exceeded my expectations, that is an understatement. I have traveled the world and been to over 40 countries, and this is one of my favorite tours that I have done. Rob was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging, he made sure that everyone felt included at all times, as a solo traveler I really appreciated that. He had the answers to any questions I had and always gave a thorough answer that was interesting without being long-winded. The tour itself was really great and it was cool seeing the famous places, but I especially loved the hidden gems and really wish we could have spent more time there. The hidden places that Rob showed us really felt like what I see Japan as, peaceful yet magnificent with the shrines and structures. I trust Rob‘s judgment with his selections of where to go where I would absolutely go on a tour of only hidden gems if it was led by him! Forget the famous places, I want to see all of these hidden spots. One thing to note, I am very glad I rented an E bike! We clocked in almost 30 miles on the bicycle, and some of the stretches would have been hard for me as I am not a cyclist, but I am in good shape. Regardless, this to tour was incredibly memorable and a big highlight for my trip to Japan!!
