The Arashiyama Bamboo Forest & Hidden Gems Bike Tour was an absolute highlight of my trip! Cycling through the town and countryside was such a refreshing and unique way to explore the area — peaceful, scenic, and a wonderful change of pace from the usual tours. Our guide, Yuki, was exceptional — professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. HIs insights into the temples, shrines, customs, and Japanese history added so much depth to the experience. It was clear he had a genuine passion for sharing his culture, and he made everyone feel welcome and engaged throughout the tour. From the stunning bamboo forest to the lesser-known local gems, every stop felt meaningful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a deeper, more active way to explore Arashiyama and its cultural treasures.

We enjoyed the bike tour immensely. The pace was leisurely and and allowed us to experience the countryside near Kyoto. Our guide, Rob, was very personable and outgoing. He is very knowledgeable about the places we visited on the tour. He was able to educate us on Buddhism and Shintoism and gave us more information and an additional perspective than our previous native tour guides.
