This was a wonderful tour of Old Town's history, especially during the revolutionary era. Our tour guide, Tim, was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. I would recommend the experience to both visitors and locals!

The walk with Tim was so very insightful and fun. He gave many insights into history and shared many background stories. It was a fun hike around this lovey small cute town.

Tour guide knowledge unsurpassed

Tim was an incredible tour guide. Very pleasant and knowledge of Alexandria and its people was unsurpassed. He provided so much detail, and I felt we could stop at every corner to tap his knowledge. I learned about early revolutionary war sites, the people who came to or were from Alexandria (Elmer, Washington, Fairfax, Lee, etc.), and saw sites from the beginning of Alexandria. If you have time, would recommend the tour - 2 hrs was a perfect amount of time.

Tim really knows his stuff, not just about revolutionary Alexandria history, but the entirety of the city and region in general as well as extensive knowledge about all time periods, from the 18th century to present! Highly recommend Tim for tours of all shapes/sizes!
