Overview

Pedal on The Appian Way the queen of the long roads, with a full suspension E-mountain bike or a conformable E-bike! Today the Appian Way is a magnificent Natural Park, rich of monuments and treasures, an oasis of tranquility and relaxation, discover it! We will start with a stop to visit the mysterious Catacombs and we will follow the Appian Way passing by ruins as the Villa of Maxentius and the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella. Then we will discover the Park of the Aqueducts and its wonderful remnants…A spectacular atmosphere in one of the most beautiful park in Rome!!! Next stop to taste typical roman dishes and relax in nature in the heart of the Eternal City before departing for one last immersion in nature.

Itinerary

  • Porta San Sebastiano

    Admire one of the Gates of the imperial city and the imposing Arch of Drusus. You can also take a view of the Appian Way from the top of the Museum of the Roman Walls.

    Stroll through the grounds of the villa of the last Emperor who spent his whole life in the Eternal City.

  • Terme di Caracalla (Pass By)

    After a short ride to exit the city center, the first stop of the tour is outside the ruins of the biggest spa of the ancient city!

  • Mausoleo di Cecilia Metella e Castrum Caetani - Parco Archeologico dell'Appia Antica (Pass By)

    The Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella is one of the most impressive landmarks of the Appian Way.

A great day exploring Rome, my family loved it! Lovely scenery, great tour of the catacombs, great bikes and guide, Silvia!

I didn’t really know what to expect but it was beyond what I could’ve ever imagined. The bikes are amazing, I had never ridden quality bikes such as the ones used in the tour. The trails were amazing and the sceneries were all breathtaking. Our guide, Silvia, was nice, outgoing, was intentional to interact with everyone from our group. She made this whole experience all the more enjoyable. I did the trip during the month of January, and although the weather was cold, you should be fine if you wear gloves and a windbreaker along with other appropriate garments.
