Itinerary

  • Canal de los Piratas

    Let's enjoy with friends and family the incredible 4 hour tour with open bar, good music and snack time. The boat tour begins with a visit the Pirates Channel, a perfect place for your first swim in the turquoise clear water.

  • Cenote de la Bruja (Pass By)

    The "Black Cenote" or "Cenote de la Bruja" is our first of three cenote visits. It is an open-air cenote and also the deepest point of the lagoon, hence it’s colour.

  • Isla de los Pájaros

    Our second stop will be “Bird Island”, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the lagoon and go for one last swim. Depending on the season, you might be able to see multiple specied of birds here too.

  • Cenote Esmeralda (Pass By)

    Our next visit is to “Cenote Emeralda”, where you will be in a great position to appreciate the different shades of blue in the lagoon and understand why the Bacalar lagoon is known as the lagoon of 7 colours.

  • Cenote Cocalitos (Pass By)

    Then we move on to "Cenote Cocalitos", home of stromatolites, which are rock-like-structures that produce oxygen and are the oldest form of life on the planet.

  • Lago Bacalar (Lake of the Seven Colors)

    We will sail through the bird islands to we find the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious fresh fruit picnic. Welcome on board!

Oh I fell in love with the lagoon! Τhe weather was super sunny, we were only 6 people, like a private boat tour. Our skipper, Romel was perfect..friendly and kind. We definitely recommend this company and Romel!

This was an excellent activity and the guides were experienced, friendly and knowledgeable. I’d recommend this as a must do in Bacalar.

We had an amazing time on the boat with Miguel and Cio. Both lovely people with lots of information on the area, as well as v generous hosts - drinks always offered ! Loads of time for swimming and exploring and chilling on the boat.

Excellent boat tour of Laguna of Seven Colors

Very enjoyable tour of the lagoon and cenotes. The tour guides, Miguel and Rocío were lively, easy going, fun and knowledgeable. The pace of the tour was relaxed, good music but not loud, great drinks, ample swimming time and a delicious lunch of fresh fruit and other goodies on the water using a surfboard as a table. This was a four-hour tour which is what you need to see the Laguna of Seven Colors without feeling rushed. Excellent value.

About 20 mins walk from town to get to Amir Adventures but worth it, we had 2 guides who between them manages to engage everyone on the boat in English, German and French (there were no Spanish speakers that day) we had rain and not the best weather but it didn't matter as they kept it fun. Drinks flowed, 3, stops for swimming, some fresh fruit and good explanations about the Lagoon as well as helping / giving tips / recommending everything from beach clubs to Restaurants to Mexican wine. My only advice would be to do the morning trip if possible ( we did afternoon) purely because you get back as it gets Dark (Nov) and according to hotel reception Rain is more likely in the afternoons.
