We are located in the facilities of the Casa China Bacalar hotel on the Costero Boulevard (Av. 1) at the height of the Cenote Esmeralda.

Itinerary

We will be waiting for you at the main gate of our marina at La Casa China Bacalar hotel at 6:30 am. You will receive the information and equipment necessary to start your private 3.5-hour paddle board activity. Before starting we will do a stretching and warm-up, we will also give you a 10-minute induction on the use of the equipment and safety measures. Your tour begins by crossing the Cenote Esmeralda, the largest of all the cenotes. The mirror effect of the water will make you feel that you are rowing in the clouds. (Photo opportunity: Capture an amazing photo when the water is completely flat and creates a mirror effect.) You will observe specimens of living rock formations that date back to the origin of life on the planet. We will tell you why they are so special and practical to keep them. You will watch the sunrise while you paddle in the direction of the Island of the Birds. This is definitely the highlight of the activity that you will remember forever. Upon reaching the island you will go down to cool off in an area with warm and crystal clear waters. When you return we will be waiting for you with a delicious breakfast of fresh seasonal fruit and coffee.

Angelo is an excellent guide!! The best. I highly recommend a tour with him. The paddling was easy and smooth and took us to the best parts of the lagoon. Angelo is very kind and knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts along the way. I can’t praise this tour enough. It’s an incredible opportunity to connect to a unique part of Mexico. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an awesome time! Such a beautiful view! Just an amazing experience overall. Our tour guide Adrian and his dog Suzie were amazing as well. He explained a lot, took some time to take photos and made it a great trip. We had a small group, in total we were with 5 people. I would definitely recommend doing this !

It was first time for me to paddle, so I was slow. Angelo waited for me all time. He was perfect guide. Swimming in cenote was amazing.

Sunrise paddle tour

Went on a sunrise paddle tour and had an amazing time. We stopped at the bird’s island, continued to the black Cenote for a swim and had a last stop at the cenote cocalitos. Angelo was extremely friendly and forthcoming and created a unique experience. He explained the history of the lagoon and shared a lot of interesting facts about the region and Mexico. I would highly recommend this tour :)
