The opportunity to experience a tour of a lifetime. Understanding Belfast's troubled history with a honestly presented political tour by Republican and Loyalist ex-political prisoners. Discover a side of Belfast you won't find in the Tourist books, We invite you to walk the streets of the city on both sides of the Peace Wall with the men and women who have served time in prisons of Northern Ireland for standing up for their beliefs. Republican and Loyalist ex-prisoners will share their own personal stories and the effects on their communities and explain the murals that tell the local history and culture of each area. The only tour to give you two truly opposing views of 'The Troubles' through the streets of West Belfast. A portion of the tours proceeds goes to working with local children in cross community projects.

  • Peace Wall (Pass By)

    This tour is both sides of the peace wall in West Belfast Between the Falls and Shankill Roads. The tours stops at many locations along the wall.

  • Bobby Sands Mural

    Explore the Murals in the nationalist area of West Belfast, including the International Wall, Bobby Sand Mural, D Company memorial Garden, Bombay Street.

Wow, learning the stories and histories and political points of view from both sides certainly opened my eyes and gave me so much food for thought. I was unaware just how the people on both sides of the wall are still living and the difficulties they still face. The guides obviously had their own views and that strongly came across. The guides came across and honest, open, and said it how it is. I was shocked and saddened by this tour but I would not have missed it. This is a part of Belfast we could never have entered without the guides and I have now bit of a clearer insight of how difficult life still is for either side of the wall. It is difficult to comprehend that the gates are still closed every night! Just wish it could be different for them all. Thank you for this insight and your openness, a mentally exhausting 3 hours but educational value was second to none. It felt disrespectful to take photos so I didn't, you need to see them with your own eyes.

What to say about this tour… wow. Probably the most thought provoking thing I have ever done in my life. It was so incredibly absorbing listening to Robert (ex-IRA) and Mark (ex-British Army) talk through the tragic history of the area, as well as their own personal experiences. It’s been 3 days since we went on the tour, and I cannot stop thinking about it. West Belfast is still a very heavily divided area, and you get a real sense of the tensions that still exist today between the two sides. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Belfast.
