My husband and I were both a little anxious about taking a tour of Mumbai but the Flower and Fish Markets tour was awash with 5 star reviews so we took the plunge. It was beyond amazing! An experience that will stay with us for ever. Our tour guide was Subhan who took exceptional care of us and was SO knowledgeable about the city, it's history, culture and its commercial side. We were met at our hotel at 5am by Subhan and Wasim our superb driver in a smart white air conditioned car and set off through quiet streets already marvelling at the City. Subhan explained the difference between legal and illegal markets and walked us through Flowers, Fruit and Vegetables. We felt protected and safe despite the early hour and the frenetic activity of the market. Next Wasim (a superb drivet) stopped right outside the largest laundry in Asia where 7000 people work and live. The sun was just beginning to rise and we moved on to the Fish market. Another hive of activity, colour noise and let's be honest, smells! At the end of the market it was delightful to see the sun rise behind the boats which bring these people their livelihood and where seafood of so many different types is for sale. Finally some of the sights of the city. Loved the cricket ground where a tournament was taking place. I have hundreds of photos and a head full of memories and an understanding and beautiful insight into the people of Mumbai all courtesy of this tour and the brilliance of Subhan. Thank you

Abhishek (Abhi), thank you so much for showing me around Mumbai. As someone visiting the city for the first time, I had the most informative and authentic tour experience with Abhishek. For someone who is only 23 years old, he had an incredible wealth of knowledge. He was not only humble but also incredibly passionate about his city, which made the experience even more special. I originally booked the “Mumbai by Dawn” tour (flowers, fish, and more) but decided to extend it to include the Dhobi Ghat and Dharavi slum tour. I must say, if you want to truly understand who runs this vibrant city that never sleeps, visiting Dharavi is a must. It’s the highest-density slum in Mumbai, with over a million residents, but it’s also home to countless industries that rely on the labor here. The people living in Dharavi are kind and incredibly generous. Despite common assumptions, they are happy, welcoming individuals who will invite you into their homes with open arms. It was an eye-opening experience, and I highly recommend adding it to your itinerary. Thank you, Abhi (tour guide) and Wasim (driver) for ensuring I had a safe and enlightening journey. An interesting tour, its a must do în Mumbai, I think there are few places like this . Its a good idea to to hire a guide, especially if you dont have much time Our guide and driver, Abhi and Pranav were great, helpful and very polite.

I took the Mumbai at Dawn tour with Subhan and Deepak and it was fantastic! I highly recommend it. They were great guides and I learned a lot.
