Overview

Learn the truth about the Troubles in Belfast starting way back in the late 1960s, visit where it happened and hear the stories of murders, collusion, bombings and rioting from locals that lived through it all. Patrol the Famous Peace walls still dividing The Unionist Shankill Road and the Nationalist Falls Road. Explore the Wall Murals that tell stories of the paramilitaries involved and the innocent people that lost their lives. Itinerary

  • Peace Wall

    At the Peace Wall your will have an opportunity to exit the vehicle and walk the walls, learn story behind why the walls are there and sign a good luck message to future generations.

    10 minutes

  • Shankill Road

    Exploring the Shankill Road you will learn about Loyalist paramilitaries, the people of the area and events that took place during The Troubles.

    40 minutes

  • Bobby Sands Mural

    Exploring the Falls Road you will learn about Republican paramilitaries, the reasons behind their uprising, the people of the area and events that took place during The Troubles.

    40 minutes

  • Crumlin Road Gaol

    Drive by the old prison and Court House to learn about where many of the people involved during the troubles where held and sentenced. You do not enter the jail at this time only to see from the outside.

Very enlightening tour of northern Irish history. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and in bias. Pick us up at our hotel. Didn’t drop us out for there though

This is a must do for anyone who really wants to know the impact of the troubles and the lasting impact it has had on the city. Our amazing guide was informative, impartial and went above and beyond to give us an incredible experience.

Excellent Historical Cab Tour

We had two cabs between 8 of us. Both drivers very friendly. Met us at our hotel, Ten Square. Very knowledgeable and engaging gentlemen. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learning more about Belfast.
