So, we have designed a journey to IZTAPALAPA, an area that reflects the daily lives of millions of Mexicans, that otherwise, you would never hear about. This urban district is full of culture, street food, traditions, and history that comes as far from the Aztecs! Today it’s a vibrant area that’s re-building its identity through art, leaving behind the stigma of being just a low-income place.

Alameda Central

This adventure begins in the Center, specifically at the entrance of the Palacio de Bellas Artes, there we will take the subway to the suburbs, while we talk about the challenge of transportation in the city.

Throughout the tour we will travel around the city and through Iztapalapa aboard the Mexico City Metro, where we will learn more about the daily life of Mexicans and the importance that the metro has for the inhabitants of this city.
