This was a terrific tour made even more special by our Guide Chris, who was friendly, professional, and very knowledgable. The gondola ride was great, just the 4 of us in the gondola on each segment. The waterfall was amazing after many weeks of rain it was huge and powerful. The butterfly garden was not included in our tour but it was well worth the price of admission!

Chris, our driver/guide was super friendly and took great care of us. The train ride was excellent, we upgraded to Gold class and got soft armchairs, drinks, and snacks. The cable car was waaaay up there. We also rode the last segment in pouring rain, which added a bit of excitement.

We did this as an independent shore excursion while our cruise ship was in port for the day. It was perfect for those wanting a knowledgeable guide to show us where to go to catch the train and skyrail and provide many other helpful tips during the day. Man first drove us around Cairns, then dropped us off at the station, met us in Kuranda, drove us around first to orient us to the small town, and then explained options (koala, butterflies, etc) on what to do and where to eat lunch. This was a nice air conditioned break! He then dropped us off at the skyrail and met us as we got off and drove us back to the ship. One could certainly do this on your own, but Man just made the day easy and taught us a lot about the area. (We also asked to upgrade to "gold" on the train with roomy seating, beverages and snacks; and also the "diamond" cars on the skyrail with glass at your feet to see the canopy below. They were a bit pricey but worth it for us.)

Very nice day. Driver was prompt and very informative. Loved the train ride up. Lots of photo ops. If you like heights the sky rail down was beautiful.

Man picked us up from right in front of our hotel and took us around all day! He was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and learn from. He drove us to the SkyRail which we loved, met us at the top- took us on a long walk through the rainforest- optional that we enjoyed- took us to town then got us back in the railway to get back to Cairns. From there he took us back to our hotel. It was a stress free day for us with him at the helm! Definitely would recommend! We felt like we got some personal attention that we would not have gotten in a larger group. You won’t regret this day!
