Great Tour of the City & Xochimilco

Published on Dec, 2024

This all-day group tour with lunch was worthwhile. Pick-up at the meeting point— Fiesta Americana Reforma was on time. Included a few pass-by landmarks and visits to Tenochtitlán, Zócalo, Metropolitan Cathedral, stop at a sterling silver jewelry store, Coyoacán (Frida Kahlo’s home, Coyoacán Square, Saint John the Baptist Church, Hildago Square), Olympic Stadium/National University Mexico, Aztec Stadium, and Xochimilco. Our tour team (driver Ricardo & guide Alan) were the consummate professionals. Being multi-lingual, Alan did a great job toggling from English to Español and the guests on this tour received his vast knowledge and funny disposition very well. The finale visit to Xochimilco was a bucket list item come true. The trajinera ride on the canal along with a hardy Mexican lunch paired with a Corona beer ended the all-day tour on a good note. Our driver Ricardo maneuvered the afternoon traffic back to our Polanco lodging like a champ. Learned a lot, specifically about Mexico City and it’s history and current events. Great all-day tour!

Excellent. Well worth the price.

This is a must to get so much sightseeing within the city. Sammy was the best tour guide and did so well transitioning from speaking in English and Spanish. Going to Xochimilco was the best way to end the day, the lunch was delicious and well worth the price. Just be patient with traffic, it does take a bit to get around.

We had the best time! Our tour guide Sergio was AMAZING! He really made the experience special for us. The city tour was fun and informative and we stopped for lots of delicious snacks along the way. Sergio knows the best spots and also gave us so many recommendations for bars, restaurants and things to see. 10 outa 10!
