Overview

Most of our trip will pass through the picturesque Troodos mountain range, famous for its magnificent green forests and clean mountain air. There, at the foot of the mountains among vineyards, lies Omodos village. Omodos is a picturesque village located in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. The village is known for its traditional architecture, cobblestone streets, and charming village square, which is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops. We will also stop at the winery, where you will have a chance to taste Commandaria and Zivania among other local wines. We will visit the island’s richest and most famous monastery, Kikkos Monastery. Here one of the miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary is kept, which is said to have been painted by St Lucas during her lifetime. You will also have a chance to visit the Birthplace of APHRODITE – this is one of the most stunning places on the coast of Cyprus, where, and for a good reason, Aphrodite emerged from the sea foam.

    Omodos is a picturesque village located in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. The village is known for its traditional architecture, cobblestone streets, and charming village square, which is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops.

  • Kykkos Monastery

    We will drive through the mountain villages of Pedoulas and Prodromos to the richest and most famous monastery of the island, Kykkos Monastery. One of the miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary, which is said to have been painted by St. Luke during her lifetime, is kept here. After that, you will have a chance to do some shopping of local product in the square in front of the monastery.

It is also a symbol of the strong connection between religion and politics in Cyprus, a theme that has played an important role in the country's history.

Had a great time,so easy to book and so helpful. Vlad our guide was so top notch,bags of info on the area and history but not in your face. Very mindful of his passengers. The wine tasting was a hoot. Highly recommend this tour

This is my 2nd time to troodos.and every moment was memorable.from beginning to the end cherry on the cake was when our guide stopped the minibus to buy fresh cherries to share them with all on the bus .
