Alessandro and Aldo were the ultimate guides with stories and history of Southern Italy, Naples, and Pompeii & Herculaneum. The tours of both Pompeii and Herculaneum were very informative and we appreciated the small group size. So glad we booked this tour because we saw and learned so much that we wouldn’t have on our own. Highly recommend!!

This is a very enjoyable and informative tour. Our guide Giuseppe and driver Rosario were a joy. They made us feel like family and took great care of us with fun times all around, especially during the transit time. We highly recommend this tour. It is a great value and something you should book if you are in Naples.

Very knowledgeable tour guides and a well-paced walk around the most interesting parts of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Driver was kind enough to drop guests at hotels after tour completion.

The group we happened to be with was great. Our “tour guide” was not who actually led the tours of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The stop at Pompeii started with a “tour” of a cameo shop - which was mainly high pressure sales of cameo jewelry. Pompeii itself was really interesting. The size and amount of excavation was larger than we expected - as was the quality of items recovered. There were a lot of tourists, but we were able to cover the entire site without rushing. Herculaneum was more interesting to me - partly because our guide knew so much about it and had the ability to show details without being the least bit boring. The differences between the two sites were obvious, so if you see just one site you would really not understand what happened when Vesuvius erupted - and you would not know the impact it has had on the entire area through the years.
