What an experienced, knowledgable and thoroughly interesting guide.
He met us as agreed at our Riad - and happily, returned us there at the end of the day!
Having grown up, a child of the Medina he knows what makes it tick and probably knows most of the 9,400 streets and alleyways.
On our tour he introduced us to many crafts which have been practised here by hand for a millennium. Fine woodwork; metalwork; wool dying; leather tanning; weaving and herbalism- those that stood out on the day.
He introduced us to some of the holy sites and the Quoranic School.
This is the man to guide you through the maze that makes up the Medina of Fes. I cannot recommend him more highly. We will leave Fes with wonderful memories, explained, expanded and educated by Abdel.
Skilled Guide for very interesting tour in the medina of Fez
Published on Feb, 2025
Abdul, a very friendly, reliable and experienced young tour guide with very good English skills, picked us up at the riad on time. Growing up in the medina, he knew his way around the winding streets and knew many of the merchants based there. He showed us all the sights, the old Koran schools, the leather dyeing, cloth weavers, wood carvers, led us through the narrowest streets, showed us the delicacies of the food stalls and brought us closer to the history of the medina as well as the everyday life of the Moroccans. No question was to much for him. We highly recommend him and his tour of the old town.
Thank you, Abdul, for your very interesting tour through a wonderful old city!
Best tour guide ever!!!!
Published on Feb, 2025
From the first moment Abdul picked us up from the riad he was very friendly. We started the tour and he's knowledge about Fez and the Medina is impressive. We loved every second about it. Took us everywhere and even to a local street food place. You would not stop there yourself but the food was just amazing. During the tour it was clear that he's hart is at the right place just by small things he did. Nothing was to much for him. I could not recommend a better tour guide in my opinion. Such a lovely and great guy. We liked Marokko but now we love it. We didn't want the day to end. Please if you need a tour guide then Abdul is the one for you. Inshalla
Full day Fes tour
Published on Feb, 2025
I explored Fes for a full day with Abdul as my guide. Abdul is intimately familiar with every aspect of Fes, its history, culture, religions, and people. I saw places that could only be found with an experienced guide, including a broad array of crafts, mosques, shops and palaces. Abdul was genuinely interested in the quality of my experience, and this interest showed throughout the entire tour. Abdul is both extremely knowledgeable and generous, making for a fantastic experience. I give him my highest rating.
